Time is your friend
Time is your friend, not foe.
Don’t believe the caged-in souls
who quiver, burrow, barely sleep; never still enough to see—
that light is streaming, shining, bending;
along the arc of space unending.
Catch the rays and ride the waves;
let them take you where they may— dancing along the plane where sky and ocean greet.
Until that great surrender to the song where loss and longing meet.
Only to find that once absolved, the here and now; and then and there;
will all one day fold—
into a world immersed in what was seen and heard; and felt and shared; from days of old.
Welcome home to a safe new resting place; dangerous enough to venture out from once again— beyond the event horizon, the deep dark space revealing that time is still your friend.
